Born and based in London, I went from being a Outside Broadcast Engineer to an edit assistant to becoming an Avid Editor at the BBC. Inspired by visual effects movies and the emergence of digital video technology in the 90’s, I was drawn towards the bleeding edge of technology, visual effects software Flame.

I’ve been working as a Flame artist since 1996 in advertising and film. As an in house, freelance and remote VFX artist, I have since worked on numerous award winning high-end features and commercials in the UK and Europe with some of the most innovative and renowned Flame artist, directors, and post houses around. Over those years, I developed a reputation for finding solutions to challenging and complex VFX shots and sequences.

In 2010 I invested in a high-end Autodesk Flame system, working remotely, I have since undertaken Oscar, Bafta and Emmy award winning feature Film and TV work for various post houses in London. In 2016, I was nominated for the Flame Award by Autodesk.

I feel very fortunate to have discovered a career that excites and challenges me to this day. I enjoy what I do and I enjoy doing great work with great people. During quiet periods I try to find time to write my screenplay and learn 3D software such as Houdini. I’m also longstanding member of the Visual Effects Society.
